Learn About the Buffalo Bicyclists Tuesday in Farmington

(Farmington) A little known story of our American history will be told Tuesday night at the Farmington Public Library.

The East Ozarks Audubon Society will present the program.

Member Sue Hagan tells us about this free event.

And these bicyclists rode for 1,900 miles back in 1897 from Montana and into Missouri, crossing the entire state.

Hagan says Missourians didn’t really throw out the welcome mat for these bicyclist soldiers.

The Buffalo Bicyclists free program will begin with a social hour Tuesday evening at 6:30 with the special presentation starting at 7 at the Farmington Public Library.
