Leasburg Man Killed in Fatal Crash in Crawford County

(Leasburg) A man from Leasburg is dead after crashing a pickup truck Monday afternoon in Crawford County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the crash happened on the I-44 South Outer Road, two miles east of ‘H’ Highway when 38-year-old Damon L. Henderson crossed the centerline, ran off the left side of the road and struck a state sign support post.

Henderson then overcorrected the Dodge Ram 2500, causing the truck to return to the roadway and then run off the other side of the road.

He overcorrected once more which caused the truck to overturn and coming to rest on it’s top.

Henderson was pronounced dead by the assistant coroner of Crawford County.
