Legionnaire’s In Farmington

(Farmington) The Missouri Department of Mental Health is confirming a case of Legionnaires’ disease at a facility in Farmington.

Health officials are inspecting the Southeast Missouri Mental Health Center’s water supply.

The 66-year-old patient involved is reported to be in stable condition in a Farmington hospital.

His name hasn’t been released.

The Department of Health and Senior Services is conducting the testing and providing guidance on how to follow C-D-C guidelines.
