(Farmington) Regional Radio took part in the latest winter storm briefing by the National Weather Service in St. Louis.
There is relatively good news for most of the listening area as far as ice totals go.
That’s according to meteorologist Jayson Gosselin.
However, snow and sleet totals are expected to be significant throughout the state.
Gosselin says starting Tuesday night, travelers should avoid doing so because all roads will be tough to navigate for a while.
This winter storm should wind down sometime Thursday afternoon but road conditions will continue to be tough to navigate long after the storm pushes out of the area.
