The Lesterville R-4 school district held its November meeting of the board of education Wednesday.

Superintendent James Watts says he reported to the board about work being done to get government money back to the district.

Watts says the public placement fund is one the district only recently regained access to.

Watts says he’s thankful for local politicians that continue to work to providing money for districts like his.

In other news from the meeting, the Lesterville R-4 board considered spending Title 4 money on enhancing district security.
