Lesterville Volleyball Continues Strong Tradition

(Lesterville) The Lesterville volleyball program has a rich history with three state championships and five final four appearances including a state runner up finish last year. That’s coach Betsy Middleton who will look to junior Reese Gray to play an all around game…

Grace Hicks tallied 11 hundred assists as the setter last year…

Middleton says other players are also raising their level of play to complement the returning leaders…

Lesterville lost to Advance in the class one state title game last season. The Hornets lost nearly their entire team, so Lesterville figures to be one of the favorites for a title this year. Middleton says there’s no entitlement on her team though…

Lesterville plays in a jamboree against Winona and Eminence and starts the season Tuesday at Valley of Caledonia. They have also placed Advance on their regular season schedule.
