Lesterville’s Fitzgerald Signs With Lindenwood-Belleville Volleyball

(LESTERVILLE, Mo.) – After four great seasons playing for the Lesterville Bearcats, Jadyn Fitzgerald is ready to take the next step and play college volleyball. Last week, Fitzgerald officially signed to attend Lindenwood University in Belleville, Ill. and join its volleyball program. The former J-98 Dream Teamer said she enjoyed the family atmosphere on campus.

Fitzgerald said she hopes to continue improving at the college level.

Perryville’s Sydney Spears is also set to join the Lindenwood-Belleville program next year. Fitzgerald said it’s nice to play with other local athletes under coach Jim Hunstein.

Fitzgerald plans to major in elementary education.
