Lesterville’s Reese Gray Is Missouri’s All-Time Kills Leader In Volleyball

(Lesterville) Lesterville volleyball star Reese Gray is now a state-record holder. Gray became Missouri’s all-time kills leader when she completed her 1,909th career kill in a three-set sweep over North County in Lesterville’s gym on October 10th.

Gray walks us through the moment when she made history.

Gray said the game was paused after she got the kill to celebrate not just her record, but a few of her teammates also hit career milestones.

Gray says she wasn’t actually aware of how close she was to breaking Missouri’s career kill record until a few matches before the one against North County.

Lesterville is 23-8-1 and will begin the Class 1 District 6 tournament this Friday against Valley Caledonia. That’s where Gray’s focus is right now.

Gray is a two-time member of the Regional Radio Dream Team.
