(Ellington) Saturday evening, we’re broadcasting the Black River League Tournament championship games on J98. The girls are up first with top seed South Iron facing off against two seed Ellington. Then on the boys side, South Iron are also the one seed and they’ll take on two seed Bunker.

The South Iron girls defeated East Carter by 28 points in the semifinals. South Iron also beat Ellington earlier this season by 15 points, but coach Jimbo Blackwell says Ellington will always compete because of Kaylee King…

South Iron and Bunker played on January 3rd. The Panthers won that game 60-45. However, Bunker played one of their best games of the season when they beat East Carter 66-41 on Thursday. Cade Sutton scored 31 points. Coach Rod Gorman is looking forward to the challenge…
