Local Ford Drive 4 UR School Check Presented to Jefferson R-7

(Festus) Money raised from the local Ford Drive 4 UR School program was presented to the Jefferson R-7 School District on Monday night during the Blue Jays annual Hoops for Hope game.

Jefferson was chosen as the selected school district back in September of last year and Reuther Ford in Herculaneum held a registered one-day event where for every valid test drive taken at the dealership, Ford donated $20 to Jefferson.

According to Doug Reuther Jr. with Reuther Ford, they were able to raise $4,760 for the Blue Jays.

Doug Jr. says the Ford Drive 4 UR School program is something they try to do a couple of times throughout the year.

More than $50 million has been raised nationally for school districts and community organizations through the Ford Drive 4 UR School and Ford Drive 4 UR Community programs.
