Local Private School Educator Arrested on Two Felony Charges

(Farmington) The principal at St. Joseph Catholic School has been arrested by the Farmington Police Department on criminal charges.
Last Wednesday, a grand jury indicted 33-year old Matthew Ethan Farr on two counts of felony enticement or attempted enticement of a child.
The indictment says on or around May 30th, 2023, Farr allegedly asked the victim, a boy under the age of 15, to expose himself to Farr.
Farr was being held in the St. Francois County jail but he has already been freed for now after posting a 100-thousand dollar bond on Friday.
Stipulations is Farr is to not have contact with the victim and to wear a G.P.S. monitoring device.
The Farmington man will have his initial appearance in St. Francois County court on April 3rd.
