Local Students Do Well In SkillsUSA Competition

(Atlanta) The robotics teams from Mineral Area College and the Unitec Career Center had a great showing at the SkillsUSA National Championships in Atlanta, Georgia.
Tanner Martinez from Bismarck and Carter Shepard of Potosi won a national championship through the Robotics Urban Search and Rescue High School Division.
Also winning a national championship through Mineral Area College were Jacob Drennen and Dean Parker forMobile Robotics Post Secondary.
In addition Jacob Rosenor and Isabelle Bruckerhoff from Mineral Area College were also recognized for their efforts in the Urban Search and Rescue competition.
