Lookout for Tainted Salad Possibly Sold at Aldi

(Farmington) The F.D.A. and C.D.C. are investigating an outbreak of Cyclospora across several states that could be linked to salad sold at ALDI, Hy-Vee and other grocery stores.

Investigators say infections are linked to ALDI and Hy-Vee bagged salad containing iceberg lettuce, red cabbage and carrots.

Anyone who has the product is advised to throw it away.

The outbreak is only linked to the “garden salad” labeled products, not other types of the stores branded bagged salads.

The product was distributed to Hy-Vee grocery stores across its eight state region including Missouri.
