Lost hiker found safe in natural area outside of Hillsboro

(Jefferson County) Emergency crews were able to locate a woman who reportedly got lost while hiking in the Valley View Glades Natural Area off Route B outside of Hillsboro.
Hillsboro Fire Protection District Chief Brian Gaudet says the incident happened on the evening of May 8th just after 8.
Chief Gaudet says they typically receive 4 to 5 calls a year to assist hikers in Valley View Glades.
The 28-year-old woman wasn’t injured in the incident.
