MAAA Rivalry Renewed as AV Hosts West County in Boys District Semis on J98

(Ironton) Playoff basketball hits the Regional Radio airwaves tonight as the #3 West County Bulldogs travel to Ironton to take on the #2 Arcadia Valley Tigers in the Class 3 District 3 semifinals on J98.

As MAAA Small School Division rivals, these two teams are very familiar with one another.

They already met back on February 2nd, and it was Arcadia Valley who earned a 71-57 road win.

Tigers’ head coach Eric Thompson says he expects to see a different-looking Bulldogs team tonight.

West County head coach Chris LaBruyere says he knows this is a well-rounded Arcadia Valley team.
