(PARK HILLS, Mo.) – In the first game of a doubleheader between the Mineral Area College softball team and Jefferson College, MAC was able to ride a complete game shutout performance from sophomore Alyssa Rennick to capture the contest 4-0 on Regional Radio.

The Lady Cardinals scored all 4 of their runs in the 4th inning, thanks in large part to a home run by freshman Marissa Worth that broke open the game.

Rennick took MAC home from there. Here was the final out.

Through 6 innings, Rennick had allowed just one baserunner.
She tells us how it felt to share the moment with her teammates in her final home start.

Game 2 was taken by Jefferson College 5-0 as the Lady Vikings proceeded to capture a shutout of their own.
JeffCo heads into the Region 16 Tournament this weekend with a 37-12 record while MAC is now 11-34-1 on the year.
