MAC Baseball Set for Pair of Doubleheaders Against Three Rivers

(Park Hills) The Mineral Area College baseball team has four games on the docket Monday and Tuesday against Three Rivers with back-to-back doubleheaders. The Cardinals come off a sweep of both games against Metro last week and head coach Blake Jones says the victories came in large part thanks to the team’s timely hitting.

Sitting at 21-13 overall and 9-13 in region 16 play, Jones believes Mineral Area’s final two weeks of the regular season are shaping up to give the Cardinals a chance to make a late run.

Three Rivers comes in at 22-20-1 and will host the first two games on Monday. Tuesdays games will be at Mineral Area in Park Hills, with first pitch scheduled for 1 o’clock both days.
