MAC Basketball Presidents Day Split Double on KREI

(Park Hills) After a Saturday double at Three Rivers on Saturday the Mineral Area College basketball teams will play a split double header on Presidents Day. The MAC women start the day with a rescheduled game at Jeff Co at 2:00. 17-9 Mineral Area has a better record than the 12-13 Vikings and have beaten them twice already this season, but coach Gary Koch was very disappointed in the Cardinals play over the weekend. He wants to stress to his team that they have precious few opportunities left this season…

ThenĀ  in the night contest the MAC men host St. Louis Community College. The men are ranked fifth in the nation and sport a sparkling 26-1 record. The Cardinals knocked off the Archers 81-63 in St. Louis, but assistant coach Tim Walsh says St. Louis is a tough team to play with a quick turnaround…
