MAC Board Met Thursday

(Park Hills) The Mineral Area College Board of Trustees met Thursday on the main campus in Park Hills. College President Doctor Joe Gilgour says one of the first things they did was to welcome their new employees.

Gilgour says they also presented the Champion of Excellence Award to Rick Jenkins for his extra work involving payroll.

Also at Thursday’s MAC board meeting, it was announced that enrollment is down slightly for the fall semester. Athletic Director Jim Gerwitz recognized several student-athletes for their academic accomplishments. Two new trucks were approved for purchase and a Memorandum of Understanding with the University of Missouri at St. Louis was approved by the board. Hear more with Gilgour below.
