MAC Board Recognizes Employees

(Park Hills) The Mineral Area College Board of Trustees has recognized not one, but two Champions of Excellence. MAC President Doctor Joe Gilgour says the board wanted to pay tribute to volleyball coach Tim Copeland.

The other Champion of Excellence Award was presented to Susie Lachance. Gilgour says she was a real life saver.

It was also announced at Thursday’s MAC board meeting that the college will go on break for the holidays on Wednesday. The college will open back up on January 2nd with spring classes starting January 17th. The board also approved putting a no tax increase bond issue on the April election ballot.
