MAC Bond Issue Passes By Slight Margin

(Park Hills) It was close, but voters in the Mineral Area College District said yes on Tuesday to a 22 million dollar bond issue proposal. MAC President Doctor Joe Gilgour says there’s a lot of work they can do with this money.

Gilgour says they really appreciate everyone’s support.

The issue needed a yes vote of 57 percent. Unofficially, it received just under 59 percent of the vote throughout the college’s service area. Hear more about the bond issue passing below.
