(Park Hills) Mineral Area College students who are financially stressed because of the coronavirus pandemic can finds some financial help through the Mineral Area College Foundation.

About a month ago, the foundation began the Emergency Student Relief Fund where 12-thousand dollars has already been raised.

Kevin Thurman is the Director of Development at the Office of Alumni, Development & MAC Foundation.

He tells us about this new program.

Thurman explains how you can donate to the MAC Emergency Student Relief Fund.

Students must be currently taking at least six credit hours of classes to qualify for the funds.

Each Mineral Area College student who qualifies will receive 250 dollars.
