MAC Hoops Concludes Full Shootout Day at the Bob on Saturday

(Park Hills) The Mineral Area College basketball teams close out a full day of hoops at the St. Francios County Rotary Shootout and both teams are putting together impressive 2019 portions of the schedule. The MAC women will come in a 9-3 having just come off a sweep of Region 16 teams in a pair of shootouts. Saturday they play a 6-7 Iowa Western team that assistant coach Briley Palmer says is much better than their record indicates….

The Mineral Area College men are undefeated at 15-0 and ranked 7th in the country. They’ll play the nightcap against the Missouri Baptist JV team. Coach Luke Strege says there’s been a lot to like in the fall semester….
