MAC Hosts Moberly in Key Region 16 Games on J-98

(Park Hills) The Mineral Area College basketball teams host Moberly Saturday in a key Region 16 matchup for both teams. The men’s game will be the marquee matchup with both teams ranked in the top 15 in the country. The Cardinals enter the contest at 22-1 and ranked 4th. Their only loss came at 15th ranked Moberly. MAC coach Luke Strege says everything that happened in the previous meeting is fixable.

The 20-4 Greyhounds are riding a 28 game win streak in regular season Region 16 games. Their last loss came on January 21,  2017 at Mineral Area.
In the women’s matchup the 16-7 Cardinals are only one game back of the Region lead. The Cardinals have lost to Three Rivers and Moberly, while those two teams have lost to each other. MAC beat 18-4 Moberly in a non region game earlier this year. A win today would put the Cardinals right back in the conversation. Assistant coach Briley Palmer invites you out…
