MAC Men beat Three Rivers 78-61
The Mineral Area College men’s basketball team overcame six turnovers in their first seven possession to beat Three Rivers on the road 78-61. After falling down 13-5 MAC went on a 15-3 run to claim the lead. MAC outscored the Raiders 18-5 the first nine minutes of the second half to create the separation that Three Rivers could not overcome. Angelo Stuart fueled the offense with 25 points………..

The 5th ranked Cardinals improve to 26-1 and are tied for the top of the region 16 standings. Three Rivers falls to 17-10. Tallon Fonda scored 17 in the loss and North County product Hayden Sprenkel pumped in four threes for 12 points. MAC gets one day of rest and will host St. Louis on Monday.
