MAC Men Claim Region 16 Regular Season

(Park Hills) The 2nd ranked Mineral Area College men captured the Region 16 regular season championship with an 82-61 win over over Three Rivers, their third of the season. The Cardinals built a 13 point lead in the first half, but Three Rivers made it a one possession game three minutes into the second half. With two games left in the regular season the 18-0 Cardinals will play West Plains twice this week, Friday at home and Saturday on the road.

The Cardinal ladies fell to 10th ranked and undefeated Three Rivers 85-54. The Raiders raced out early in the this one and never let the Cardinals back in.
