Hutchinson came back with a 22-8 run to take the lead 27-26. After a back and forth exchange MAC took a seven point lead 40-33 at the half. MAC stretched the lead to ten with three minutes to go, 76-66. Hutch rallied with an 11-2 push to set up the exciting conclusion…

16th seeded Hutchinson closes the year at 19-7. Stephen Gabriel came into the game averaging eight points. He pumped in 27. MAC plays in the round of eight Thursday at noon against the Cowley County. Cowley beat Trinity Valley 134-107. The two combined for the most points ever scored in an NJCAA tournament game. We’ll have the call on J-98 starting at 11:45.
