The Mineral Area College men’s basketball team improved to 11-0 with a 75-60 win over Ft. Scott in their first game of the Chris Morrison State Farm Thanksgiving Classic at the Bob Sechrest Fieldhouse. The Greyhounds to it to the Cardinals in the first nine minutes going on top 18-11. MAC went on a 13-1 run and never trailed again. Our Applebees of Farmington player of the game, Gabe O’Neal beat the buzzer to end the first half….

O’Neal finished the game with 14 points and eight rebounds. Angelo Stuart led the Cardinals with 15 points.
In the second half Malevy Leons helped to turn some defense into offense….

Tomorrow, MAC plays Kansas City, Kansas who came back from down 20 to beat North Arkansas in the first game of the day
