MAC Offers Welding Apprenticeship Program

MAC recently inducted 16 students into a prestigious honor society.
(Park Hills) Mineral Area College has many programs that can help you get into the workforce. One of most sought after jobs in the labor workforce right now is welding and MAC is partnering with Lee Mechanical for an apprenticeship program in welding. Eric Shelton is an Advanced Manufacturing Instructor at MAC and tells us a little about the program.
It’s a seven week flexible schedule, so if you miss a week you can easily make it up. Shelton says it won’t cost anything to be in the program either.
