MAC President Dr. Joe Gilgour Declines Pay Increase

MAC recently inducted 16 students into a prestigious honor society.
(Park Hills, Mo.) A couple of weeks ago at Mineral Area College’s board meeting, president of MAC, Dr. Joe Gilgour, requested that he not receive his annual increase in pay that is written into his contract.
Dr. Gilgour will also take ten days of furlough spaced out over the next year.
Dr. Gilgour hopes to be able to give those raises to MAC employees next year or the following year after.
