MAC President On Plan To Re-Open

(Park Hills) Mineral Area College in Park Hills has announced it’s plans for re-opening the campus on August 3rd. President Doctor Joe Gilgour says the plan contains four scenarios, ranging from business as usual to the campus closing down once again and having only on-line classes. He says with students coming from so many different areas, they needed to cover all their bases.

And Gilgour says there’s a very real possibility they’ll have to adjust this plan depending on the situation.

As of right now, the only sport being played this fall is cross country. All other sports have been moved to the spring, however, other events, such as plays and concerts, will take place, using proper social distancing guidelines. Hear more with Doctor Gilgour below.
