MAC Rolls Loggers in Opener

(Springfield, IL) Mineral Area College began the 2021 basketball season with a 85-52 road win at Lincoln Land in Springfield, Illinois tonight on KREI. The 0-1 Loggers led 14-12 at the 10:30 mark of the first half, but the 20th ranked Cardinal men took charge with a 21-2 run to go up 33-16. Kevin Stone led MAC with 19 points and supplied some highlights in the run…..

Mineral Area extended the run into the second half making it a 33-5 push.

MAC (1-0) plays at the Missouri Baptist JV Friday night with the home opener coming Tuesday against North Central. The women open the season Saturday at home against #20 Vincennes. The MAC volleyball team begins action Friday at home against Northeast Oklahoma A&M. We’ll broadcast both of those games on Regional Radio.
