(PARK HILLS) – The MAC Rotary Shootout begins Saturday morning on AM 800 KREI with a 10:30 a.m. tip-off between the Lesterville Bearcats and the Kingston Cougars. Lesterville has been impressive to start the season, coming in at 6-1 and taking the AV Thanksgiving Tournament and Caledonia Tournament Crowns. Head coach Lee Richardson says he wants to let his interior players succeed.

Kingston enters with a record of 1-4 and coach Paul Hamilton says their early season schedule hasn’t been easy.

Game 2 will see the 1-4 Bismarck Indians square off against the 0-4 Greenville Bears. Greenville first-year head coach Nathan Walk says despite the record, his team has showed signs of strength.

Game 3 features the West County Bulldogs doing battle with the Potosi Trojans. The Bulldogs come in with a record of 2-2 and head coach Chris LaBruyere says they’ve up the intensity in practice lately and it has paid off.

The Trojans sit at 1-2 and head coach Brett Hale says they’ve been searching for some consistency in the early part of the season.

Then we will resume our coverage at 4:15 on J98 and bring you action of 3-1 North County and 3-3 Arcadia Valley. Raiders head coach Jimmy Palmer says they’ve been lead by a number of key returners.

After the high school games, coverage will continue on J-98 with the MAC Cardinals games. Pregame coverage begins with a 10:15 pregame show on AM 800 KREI.
