MAC Sweeps State Fair In Sunday Double-Header

(Park Hills) The Mineral Area College Cardinals baseball team swept a double-header against the State Fair Roadrunners Sunday afternoon. MAC won the first game 4-3 and the second 11-3. MAC coach Blake Jones says it’s nice to win 2 Region 16 games.
Jones says a lot of the credit goes to MAC’s Liam Hicks and Caleb Feuerstake.
The same two teams square off tomorrow at MAC. Jones says State Fair is a good ball club.
And as for who’ll be on the mound for the Cardinals…
MAC is now 11-2 on the season. You can hear the first game of Monday’s double-header against State Fair on AM-800 KREI. The Flieg’s Equipment pre-game show begins at 11:45 Monday morning.
