The Mineral Area College volleyball team went five sets, but couldn’t overcome West Plains at the Bob Secrest Field house in Park Hills. MAC took the first set 25-21, but fell in the second 25-20. The third set went back and forth. The Cardinals led 14-9. West Plains pushed back with a 12-4 run to go on top 21-8, but MAC finished the set scoring 7 of the final 8 points. MAC falls to 15-10 with one match remaining in the regular season. We’ll broadcast the Cardinals match against Lincoln Land on Tuesday along with the Midnight Madness festivities. West Plains completed a regular season sweep of MAC and improved to 10-17. The Grizzlies play at JeffCo Thursday night.
