MAC Volleyball Loses Ally Moore in Automobile Accident
(Park Hills) A community and family lost a daughter and the Mineral Area College volleyball team lost a player over the holidays as Ally Moore died in a automobile accident on December 30th. Moore was a Windsor High School graduate and a freshman at MAC. Cardinals coach Tim Copeland says Ally would have been a key piece for the MAC defense.
The tragedy comes only 15 months after the Cardinals suffered another loss to their family. 2019 graduate and All American Shelby Meyer died in an accident in September of 2019. Meyer was the sister of Assistant Coach Sami Meyer. Copeland says it’s heartbreaking for everyone…
Moore finished her high school career at Windsor as an All State and Dream Team player. She helped the Owls to a 23-12-5 record and an appearance in the Class 3 Final Four. She told us in an interview at the time that it was a thrill to accomplish so much with her teammates…
Moore averaged 5.6 digs per set as the libero for Windsor. Moore was 18 years old and was survived by her parents Virgil and Tricia Lee.
