MAC Women Sweep JeffCo

(Park Hills) The Mineral Area College women swept the regular season series with Jefferson College with 70-53 win at the Bob Sechrest Fieldhouse

JeffCo pulled ahead by six to start the second quarter, but then MAC shifted into its running game and went on a 24-5 run to take a 16 point lead into the half….

Quincy Erickson scored 18 for the Cardinals and gave MAC its largest lead in the 4th

MAC improves to 8-11 and 6-7 in Region 16 play. The Cardinals secure at least the four seed for the postseason Region tournament. The Vikings fall to 6-12 and 3-9 in region play.
