(PARK HILLS, Mo.) – The Mineral Area College women’s basketball team will have their second Region 16 contest of the season Saturday afternoon as they host the Crowder Roughriders on J-98.

MAC is 11-6 and has lost their last two games, surrendering 96 points in each contest.

The Cardinals fell at home to Three Rivers 96-92 and on the road this week at Vincennes 96-78.

For MAC head coach Gary Koch, the emphasis is improving on defense.

While the Cards are 0-1 in Region 16 play, this will be the conference opener for Crowder, who is 10-7 on the year.

These two teams faced off on December 8th at Three Rivers, with MAC getting the better of Crowder 67-56.
