The game was tight all night long, with the Cardinals trailing 27-26 at halftime and falling behind by as much as 7 points in the second half, but our Applebee’s of Farmington Player of the Game Holly Forbes started to will MAC back to the lead.

The lead swung back and forth all the way down the stretch, and the Cardinals did have a shot to win the game at the buzzer but came up short.

Forbes finished with 24 points and 15 rebounds. Assistant coach Briley Palmer couldn’t believe the wild finish.

The season ends for Mineral Area College with a record of 21-8, while Moberly moves on to face Three Rivers in the Region 16 championship game.
