MAC women visit JeffCo for Region 16 showdown

Region 16 women’s basketball comes to Hillsboro Wednesday when the Mineral Area College Cardinals take on the Jefferson College Vikings on Regional Radio.
MAC is starting to its stride, having won six of its last 8 games to improve to 17-8 overall and 4-3 in Region 16.
But Cardinals assistant coach Briley Palmer says there is a challenge is facing a familiar foe.
JeffCo has lost 3 straight to fall to 11-13 overall and 2-4 in region play.
Vikings head coach Ashley McGee says her team fought hard in their most recent meeting with MAC, but they just ran out of gas in the loss on January 15th.
Mineral Area College has won both games against Jefferson this season, with both games having a final score of 74-58.
