Jake says he’s seen his abilities take off just focusing on track…

In his talks with coach Steve Davis, Jake discovered he had the myriad of skills it takes to excel in the event…

With decathlon not available at the high school level, the learning curve is steep…

Casey enjoys competing in the decathlon more than just running sprints…

Casey is hoping to compete for a four year school after this year at MAC.

The decathlon includes the 100 meter dash, the 400, 110 hurdles, long jump, high jump, pole vault, discus, javelin, shot put and 15 hundred. The indoor heptathlon eliminates the javelin, disc and 400 and shortens the 100 meters and hurdles to 60 meters.
