Madison County Feed the Families Bake Sale & Auction A Success

(Fredericktown) Saturday’s Feed the Families Bake Sale and Auction, held in Fredericktown, to benefit the food pantries of Madison County was a successful one.

Jim Keathley manned the booth for the Marquand First Baptist Church, that’s where one of the county’s food pantries is located.

He says the feed the families event is their largest fundraiser of the year.

We asked Keathley if he’s noticed an increase in indivduals that need to use their food pantry in Marquand.

Organizers say at least $20,000 was raised through this year’s Madison County Feed the Families Bake Sale and Auction.

However, that number will continue to rise because late donations are still coming in.
