Madison County Health Officials Concerned About More COVID Variants

(Fredericktown) The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is now telling us that the Delta Strain of COVID-19 might not be the last one we have to deal with. Becky Hunt is the administrator for the Madison County Health Department in Fredericktown.

And as if COVID isn’t enough to worry about, Hunt says flu season is right around the corner. We asked her if they had heard anything about how bad the flu will be this year.

The Centers for Disease Control has identified the Mu, Eta and Iota Variants as “variants of interest,” along with several others.
