Mail in voting for August and November

(Jefferson City) The Missouri Legislature has passed a bill to allow for “mail in” voting as an option for both the August and November elections. State Representative Dan Shaul of Imperial is the Chairman of the Elections and Election Officials Committee. He says the bill put into effect due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Shaul says the process to obtain mail-in ballots isn’t too complicated.

Unfortunately, the passage of this bill came too late to offer during the June 2nd Municipal and General election. However, residents can still vote absentee by visiting the Jefferson County Administration building in Hillsboro.
