Major Improvements Concerning Drought in Southeast Missouri

(Farmington) Major improvements concerning the drought in southeast Missouri.

Rain during the last week has taken all drought problems completely out of of Perry County and northern Bollinger County.

Moderate drought conditions continue to linger in two-thirds of Dent County, western and southern Reynolds County and the southern half of Wayne County.

The rest of the listening area is nearly out of trouble as far as the drought goes with abnormally dry conditions.

The northeastern and western side of Missouri is not so lucky.

Those areas are still experiencing extreme, severe and moderate drought conditions.
