Man from Catawissa Dies after Pickup Truck Crash in Jefferson County

(Dittmer) A man from Catawissa died Thursday night after a pickup truck accident in Jefferson County.
The Highway Patrol says the accident took place on Dittmer-Catawissa Road, just east of Calvey Creek Road when a Ford F-250 driven by 74-year-old Norman Andrews ran off the road, overturned in a creek and landed on a large rock.
Andrews was pronounced dead at the scene by Big River Ambulance District personnel.
