(BONNE TERRE, Mo.) – A man from Park Hills is being charged after allegedly breaking down the door of a Bonne Terre home and injuring another man with a baseball bat in a Monday incident.

The Daily Journal reports that 39-year old Elrick Raynor is now facing charges of first-degree burglary, first-degree assault, and armed criminal action.

Raynor allegedly kicked in the door of a home that contained three occupants at the time, one of which was Raynor’s ex-wife.

The witnesses told police that Raynor came wielding a baseball bat, and used the bat to strike on of the males in the home in the back of the leg.

This gave the man swelling in the same area.

Raynor was charged Tuesday and given a $50,000 bond, which he posted the same day.
