Man Now Accused of Crawford County Road Rage Attack Found Through Cell Phone

(Bourbon) The Crawford County Sheriff’s Department says it found the man accused of attacking a woman during a road rage incident by tracking his cell phone.

The confrontation happened on a road in Bourbon last August and it left Jamie Peters with brain damage.

There was a witness but he wasn’t able to definitively identify Joseph Voisey as the attacker.

Investigators say Voisey’s cell phone was within 130 meters of the crime scene on the date of the road rage incident.

The judge in Crawford County has decided there is enough evidence to take the case to trial and it is scheduled to start later this month at the courthouse in Steelville.
