Man Pulled Over By Police, Takes Own Life in Festus

(FESTUS) Festus Police Chief Doug Wendel says police activity Tuesday afternoon near Gamel Cemetery Road and Highway C-C did not involve an active shooter. Chief Wendel says police were called to the scene and an unidentified male took his own life.
Chief Wendel adds no officers were injured during the incident.
