Man Seriously Injured after Two Vehicle Crash in Wayne County

(Lowndes) A man from Cape Girardeau received serious injuries after a two vehicle accident this morning in Wayne County.
The Highway Patrol says the accident took place on ‘E’ Highway, a half mile west of Lowndes when a Ford pickup truck driven by 36-year-old David Helm of Greenville crossed the centerline and struck a Buick Lucerne driven by 39-year-old Aaron Ragan of Cape Girardeau.
Ragan received serious injuries and was taken to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.
Helm was not injured.
